My mission is to improve the quality of life for those diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders and their caregivers.  Applied behavior analysis (ABA) is utilized to support evidence-based treatments focusing on increasing communication, developing social and play skills, and replacing challenging behaviors.  Applied Behavioral Concepts creates highly individualized programs, and provides direct in-home services in a natural teaching environment for the Portland, Oregon area.

I began my professional career as a certified Montessori teacher. I left Montessori to return to graduate school while working with a non-profit, providing ABA services to children ages 2-8.  After obtaining my masters degree in Special Education, I began taking ABA coursework through the Florida Institute of Technology. I completed my supervised experience providing ABA therapy in both home and classroom settings and became certified through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board in 2012. My main area of expertise is early intervention and social skills training for elementary school ages, providing quality in-home services to the autism community. I enjoy creating individualized programs tailored to meet each client's specific needs. My work is truly a labor of love and each day brings a smile to my face.
